Sadly, this will be your
final art project sent to you during lockdown! I hope you have enjoyed the
previous two art projects J
I have loved seeing your amazing creations uploaded onto your year group blogs.
Seeing as this is your final project, I thought it would be a great idea to
give you some freedom!
you can choose:
artist you would like to get your inspiration from
materials you use
you would like your art to look
you would like to display it
Find an artist you like and choose one that you would like to base your art work on. (I have included artist fact files for you to choose from.)
type of art they create (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography)
you name any techniques they have used?
colours can you see?
they use any patterns or shapes in their art work?
do you like about the art? How does it make you feel?
your art work. BE CREATIVE! It doesn’t just have to be a piece of artwork on an
a4 piece of paper. For example, if you have chosen William Morris as your
artist, you could create a 3d living room in a card board box and wallpaper the
walls with painted designs inspired by his art.
the piece of art work inspired by your chosen artist.
Challenge! Analyse your art work. What
is good about your art work? How could you make it even better next time?
You have worked so hard on your art work this year! You should be extra proud of your achievements in art J I have included a certificate template. If possible, you may like your parent to print it and write it for you.
We hope that you have had a relaxing, enjoyable half term and are ready for some more exciting learning! We hope that you have a fantastic time completing the activities and please send any pictures of this week’s learning to Mrs Stock. We look forward to seeing what you have done!
